Solidestinations is a responsible tourism organization that develops ecotourism, solidarity and community stays in Sri Lanka and India.

Our objective is to promote responsible and united tourism by rigorously respecting the criteria of fair trade.

Our stays are developed on request to best integrate the wishes of travelers without neglecting the needs of hosts in host countries.

Our basic tool is the room at the inhabitant that we develop in areas little frequented by mass tourists, with the collaboration of the local populations .

Solidestinations is a social and solidarity economy (ESS) and activist organization that seeks alternative solutions to mass tourism and denounces irresponsible tourism practices.

We use tourism as a vector of local development , to promote women's work and to contribute to the education and leisure activities of the less privileged populations . As a result, part of the profits is used to finance educational and social projects for women and children.

 

In France, thanks to our Voyageurs Solidaires association, we are helping to create links of solidarity between travelers, activists and partner populations in Sri Lanka and India.
